Over the past three decades, the geoENV conference series has evolved into a premier international forum for advancing the application of geostatistics to environmental challenges. Since its inception in Lisbon in 1996, geoENV has been held biannually at venues across Europe — including Valencia, Avignon, Barcelona, Neuchâtel, Rhodes, Southampton, Gent, Paris, Belfast, Parma, Chania, and others — fostering collaboration among scientists, engineers, and practitioners from diverse fields. The conference has consistently provided a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting methodological innovations, and showcasing real-world applications in environmental modeling, natural resource management, risk assessment, and sustainability. Celebrating 30 years of scientific excellence and interdisciplinary dialogue, geoENV continues to shape the future of environmental geostatistics, with its next edition set to take place in Limassol in 2026.
